Condition/Treatment
Due to bad storing conditions the edges showed numerous tears. Long term contact with wood-pulp-containing cardboard led to discolouration and staining. Water rims are clearly visible on the surface.
The lithograph was dry cleaned and rinsed. Deacidification was followed by slight bleaching and all tears and losses were stabilized with Japanese paper and starch paste.
